Delete your Cadence account
This page explains how to delete your Cadence account (Trion Technology) and everything stored with it. You can do it yourself, in the app, in about ten seconds — no email, no waiting on us.
In the app
- Open Cadence.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. That's it — it happens immediately.
Want a copy first? Settings → Your data → Export gives you everything as a JSON file before you go. We'd rather you leave with your history than without it.
If you can't sign in
Email freddy.chia@trioncreation.com from the address on the account. We'll verify it's you and delete it within 30 days — usually the same day.
What gets deleted
- Your email address and password hash.
- Every habit — names, colours, weekly goals, and pause state.
- Every check-in, for every day, for all time.
- All sessions and sync records.
This is permanent and it cannot be undone. Deletion is immediate in our live database, and encrypted backups holding the data are rotated out within 30 days.
What is kept, and why
- Purchase records are held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, not by us. We cannot delete those, and tax law requires the transaction record be kept (typically 7 years). They are not linked to your habits.
Habits on your device
Cadence stores your habits on your phone first and works fully offline. Deleting your account removes everything from our server. To remove the local copy too, delete the app from your device.
